My wife was looking forward to her new Dorel vanity, model DA8050A. We ordered from Revain and it arrived safely, although the box was damaged. Our deepest disappointment due to quality issues. I'm sure there are many other issues in this area with these issues. The bottom of the sink was not formed flat and the round hole is imperfect. This will cause leaks regardless of the new rubber seal. The top drain hole does not line up with the bottom hole, causing the top to move and drain at a slight angle. Also, the top opening was poorly shaped to allow for a puddle. This eventually leads to the formation of mold. When inspecting the interior of the sink, your manufacturer missed part of the interior. This encourages growth and expansion. More than half of the hinge screws were loose, causing the doors to scratch when opened. Two screws could not be tightened due to damage to the peeled wood. Whoever designed it had to use a screw that was twice as long. There's a lot of depth. The doors had to be reconfigured. Not hard. However, the doors should have been designed 2mm narrower to avoid damage if they were moved. The hinges don't leave enough room to maneuver when opening/closing. The rear valve access hole needed to be wider for the normal spacing between hot/cold water valves. Overall very poor design, mold quality, attention to detail during production and quality control department. Mistake. I temporarily stopped the drain leaking by stuffing the plumbing with putty over the bottom gasket and rounding the bottom hole. At some point it will leak again. Temporarily fixing these issues took up a lot of my time as the old one was removed as part of the pre-Christmas demo. I called the number provided and the customer service rep just told me to call the Revain and send it back. I am deeply disappointed. I believe they should have been aware of these issues and fixed them before the product reached the consumer. I feel like the company wasted my time and cheated me. On the plus side, the countertop and splashback are well carved and the cabinet wood looks nice. .
