In a nutshell I wanted my bike to sound louder and I read that simply removing the baffle makes an awful noise in my stock pipes so I chose it because of the price and because the black version got good reviews would have. .Overall this is a very good purchase and honestly it didn't disappoint. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Inexpensive Good aesthetics. Very easy to install LOUD! The supplied screws were 5-10 mm shorter. I had to go to Lowe's and buy some for $8. I would recommend them, just prepare some M8x1.25 screws. 30mm long is the magic number - at least on my Forty Eight Sportster.
