If you're longing for the bygone days of an IBM or Dell Bigfoot mechanical keyboard (I've had both). . . it's not that. But it's a decent retro vanilla keyboard that gets the job done. The spacebar clicks, the rest makes a dull noise on the suction cup that will not satisfy keyboard connoisseurs. Performance is ok - nothing special, but nothing bad either. Visually, the buttons are pretty small, but they do the job of transporting you back in time. I enjoy mine, but there are no cheap substitutes for a well designed and built keyboard. If you just want the looks, it costs $30. UPDATE: I've been using this keyboard for a month now and am increasing it to 1 star. I was a bit overwhelmed at first but now that I use kb every day for work I can say that if you use it for a while it's a really great kb, although it's not. built exactly like a big outdated KB, the illusion is complete, it really does look like an old keyboard, very tactile (chunky rather than clicky) and responsive. I haven't had a single problem yet and it's always a pleasure to use - and it really brings back a vintage atmosphere! This is a real steal at $30 if you just want a more traditional keyboard without risking an expensive vintage board or an overpriced modern mechanical keyboard. Let's see if it will be 5 stars!
