I received this because the white noise generator was the #1 recommended product for babies. My baby was born premature (1 month) and was in intensive care for 2 weeks. Because of this I think he got used to a lot of background noise as well as light. Nevertheless, I tried the car. It's easy to use. It has multiple sound options such as fans, exterior noise, and music. It has a volume control. It's a good size, about the size of a softball. I just don't think my kid needed it. The only thing I didn't like is that the power chord seems to connect at a point that is a bit awkward to connect.
