First use - wet underside

Only used once for my daughter under sheets. She had a pretty serious accident with urine while she was sleeping. When she woke up crying, it was slightly damp underneath and smelled of urine. Keep in mind that this was a significant amount of urine and I'm not sure how long she lay in it before waking up. I put the bed back down. I'll wash it once and see how it goes next time. I will post an update.

Used for sofa cushions - not crib

We have a light cream L shaped sofa with 6 cushions. Unfortunately our dog got sick from one of the pillows. We cleaned it according to the manufacturer's recommendations and the stain came out, but then we tried to figure out how to protect it from future damage. Ah ha! Mattress pads for children's beds ensure watertightness. One pillow fits two pillows beautifully, so I ordered three. Then I ordered plain sheets to cover the mattress pads. Definitely waterproof and quieter than expected

I bought this for my favorite pig bed. Sometimes she spills her bowl of water on the bed. This helped keep her mattress dry even when she poured a full bowl of water over the mattress. It's also not as loud as I expected - it doesn't rustle like I expected and is relatively quiet even when my pig is restless at night.

Don't hesitate to order this! It's worth it

I haven't put it on my daughter's bed yet. I'm waiting for the sheets I ordered for you. But I was a little disappointed when it arrived, thinking it was heavy. Thank goodness it wasn't! The packaging it came in was vacuum sealed which made it so. One day I opened the package. It was so soft and I was VERY impressed with how soft it was. I would order that again.
