Definitely waterproof and quieter than expected

I bought this for my favorite pig bed. Sometimes she spills her bowl of water on the bed. This helped keep her mattress dry even when she poured a full bowl of water over the mattress. It's also not as loud as I expected - it doesn't rustle like I expected and is relatively quiet even when my pig is restless at night.
