Great shelf for the money. I use mine for my turntable and stereo. Collapsible cloth containers are quite thick and look like they will last a long time. Although they are too small to store vinyl records, bottom drawers without baskets are ideal for them. I decided to use a trash can on one side and keep my notes in a cabinet on the other. One of the simplest furniture constructions I've come across. Overall strength is excellent with weight in the middle and/or bottom. . It will likely be too heavy if all the weight is on the top shelf. It's worth noting that the top shelf lacks a center support and flexes slightly, so you're limited to placing light items on it. However, the middle shelf can hold significantly heavier items.
