Best alternative to other server monitors
The best thing about spectrum app for me personally was that it helped my clients understand their servers better than before by providing them real time data which would help in fixing issues faster as well! I liked how easy everything could be done using one platform - no need anymore having different tools installed just because you needed more features or something like what we had at our previous place where i used another monitoring software called Zabbix (which has been replaced now). Also there were some minor problems but nothing major so far when compared against competitors out here such us Pingdom etc., We use spectra mainly due too get alerts whenever any issue occurs within an application running behind nginx webserver(nginx+php).
- It provides great visibility into your server uptime
- Easy to setup, configure & deploy with minimal infra requirements.
- Relatively new product still yet uncontested market share is not fully tapped hence lots left over potential opportunities ahead especially if they can continue improving upon existing functionality without adding extra complexity/bloatware alongwith good support team
- Still lacks few basic functionalities even though its pretty much
