PREVIOUS REVIEW: Works perfectly* and as our TV is not fixed stick length is not an issue at all. My husband loves the voice control feature and uses it occasionally. At one point he was watching TV and I don't know what he was pressing, but the TV started talking - CONTINUOUSLY - reading everything that was happening on the screen. I was confused, but if this happens to you, go to "Accessibility" to turn it off. Apparently this is a feature for the visually impaired. *LATER REVIEW (EDIT): THIS IS THE REMOTE CONTROL - POS. It worked for about five months and then stopped working altogether. If I hadn't read other reviews where people had the same problem and found they had to change batteries too often - one person had to take the batteries out every night and then put them back in the next night - I wouldn't be doing it this. . I didn't know changing the battery could help. We put new batteries in and everything worked. . . for some days. Then it stopped again. THE COMPANY'S RETURN POLICY IS A JOKE. I wanted to return it, but the company has made it so complicated and questionable that most people give up on the idea given the hurdles to jump through, the resulting time it takes to watch TV again, and One of the main disadvantages of this remote control seems to be that it runs on batteries. If the remote's problem is also that it tends to drain your batteries, the company would probably try new batteries and then ship them back with the words "You need to replace the batteries." So basically we have to eat the price of this thing and take a chance on another model. Or maybe we're just getting a different system than Roku.
