I have had many steamers in the past and this combine has done all of my previous ones. Let's face it, no one likes messing around with an iron. I seem to have another one and leave it in the basement next to this one. I always leave it connected to the compensator but when it's ready to go I usually just set it to the first setting when I'm pumping out vapor which can do whatever I need to do. It seems very fast and seems very efficient and as much water as it uses I also accidentally left it in the water for long periods of time it burned up with no issues or issues with the actual device. I am very, very happy with the steamer! It also has a hanger and clip that makes it easy to attach pants or shirts to it. I highly recommend it. I hope that was helpful!
