Review on Enhanced FLIR MR176 - Advanced Moisture Meter with IGM, Infrared Guided Measurement, Replaceable Hygrometer, Pin & Pinless Moisture Detection by Tyler Cooley

For this price I expect a product that will 'work' and last a long time. I had to send back the first one I received because it only registered the moisture level when it was fully saturated, which is a problem with a moisture meter (!). The second has the same problem. That means I always have to carry a second moisture meter with me to get the right reading. Grrr. Another employee has the same problem and they have the same problem. It's three out of three of dubious quality. Now, after trying to figure out why charging was such a problem (which took no more than an hour at a time), the internal connector has come loose. within the unit. So that solves the question of why it wasn't loading properly: It was poorly built :-(For almost $1000 this was a huge disappointment.
