This pack completely let me down at the worst possible moment. He let me through when he saw the zipper unzip in my hand. But after 30 minutes of trying to get the ball back on my teeth, I gave up and opened it by hand. Any small items in the bag now had to be dropped into the main compartment, making it impossible to find and too dangerous to open for fear of things falling out. The side pockets, made of almost transparent nylon, are not strong enough to hold anything more than empty water bottles. save your money Buy something else.
