Excellent, light and very compact!

I'm only holding back one star because I haven't had the packaging long enough to appreciate its shelf life. But I used it on a recent trip - it's roomy enough for everything you might need on a day hike and very light. Nylon ripstop construction feels durable. I love the color (mine is light green) and the simplicity: one main compartment, a smaller zipped one and 2 side pockets perfect for water bottles. It folds easily into a separate burrito-sized case. I will use it often!

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

I love lime green

I like this backpack (although I needed a little less). That's 20 liters. Nice light green colour. Excellent visibility. There is a zipped pocket and divider sleeve on the inside of the main compartment and a small pocket on the inside of the front zipped compartment that opens with a stretch top. It would be too small for my phone but could fit some other small items. The two side mesh pockets on the outside are well made, but only fit a small drinking bottle. I will take my clementines there.

Ideal for international travel. Packaging

We have not used this item yet as our trip is coming up in a few weeks. We are seasoned travelers who like to pack everything in our hand luggage, so space and weight are always a top factor for us. The day bag is very light and can be easily unfolded and folded again. We liked that it had outside pockets for water bottles/umbrellas. and plenty of space inside with a zip pocket inside. While it is not considered theft or cut resistant, we were aware of this when purchasing the item. The husband

Poorly done, avoid

This pack completely let me down at the worst possible moment. I had just put my phone in my front pocket when the security officer at the airport told me to take it out and throw it in the trash (a small airport in Mongolia). When I tried to unzip the zipper, the zipper puller fell loose in my hand - it was never sewn on at the top. The ends of each half of the bolt dangled free, and nothing was torn. He let me through when he saw the zipper unzip in my hand. But after 30 minutes of trying to…

An indispensable item for the light packer!

I had an Eagle Creek foldable pack for years when the ripstop nylon started to tear. I bought it as a replacement and it's an upgrade! Better organized with a large outer pocket, a small inner zippered pocket at the top of the inner backpack (good for protecting your wallet and phone), a divider at the back (keeps documents or my laptop in place), and two outer mesh water bottles. bags. Works great on my international travel and needs a backpack. I use it all the time at home for business. I…
