I've only had my Asus ZenBook a few months. The appearance is beautiful and I was very happy when I received it and apart from this problem. I have to constantly go through this hoopla where I can't turn it on even though it's charged. I called tech support and was told to plug the device in and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Then I have to turn the power off and on again. This action seems to work, but does it really work? Isn't it a bit strange that I accidentally have to follow these steps to turn on the device? Also, the fan often turns on and makes a loud blowing noise even though the laptop isn't on a surface that impedes airflow. I'm concerned about the durability of my new laptop.
