Ok, but needs a little practice.
They work exactly as advertised. The hesitation comes from the fact that the laser line is pointing where your hand is pointing. Therefore, it takes some practice to keep them still and constantly cut in the direction of the laser line. They are sharp and I have been able to learn to use them without guides on sheets of wrapping paper.
