Yes it is a bit flimsy but once hung the frosted glass lampshade looks much more premium and no one will notice unless they need to change the lightbulb. This will be a common occurrence for us as I bought this to replace a light fixture that was making one side of the room darker when the LED light was installed. This cheap light packs two lower wattage LEDs to evenly fill the room with light and actually looks better than the more expensive light it replaced. You can be wrong. I ended up buying a second one to update another, less used bedroom.
