My wife has always dreamed of an overlocker. Asked for a New Year's gift. I was afraid that it would be very noisy. Neighbors complained that the sound from the sewing machine resembled a drill. I had to assemble the table myself from a kitchen worktop and two deep chests of drawers with a NoiseBlock vibration damping insulator. Now when you knock on the countertop - the sound is like knocking on a stone. Neighbors no longer complain. This overlocker is heavy, I thought soundproofing would not help, but in fact it turned out to be many times quieter than the Pfaff sewing machine. When my wife is overlocking, I don't even have to turn up the volume on the TV. But of course a big merit in this from soundproofing. This is our first overclock. When they opened the instructions - the hair stood on end - how to figure it all out ?! The overlock was chosen with automatic threading of the lower looper. I still don't understand where the machine is. And if it is, then I can’t imagine how such overlocks are filled without a machine gun. We first tried to lengthen the test threads with new threads. They couldn’t - the threads were torn and confused, I had to refuel according to the instructions. With sin in half and watching a bunch of videos, they refueled the unit. Traveled for over an hour. But the result is very pleasing. Quiet operation and great lines. Now we want to buy additional paws. The machine is undemanding to threads. We were looking for good and inexpensive ones, the choice fell on Gamma 50/2 threads - only 170 for a 4.5 km coil. When tucked in, I was upset that the threads were a little fluffy and the thickness was uneven. But in fact, everything turned out well. Not a single break. The wife wants to try all kinds of seams, but has not figured everything out yet. Unlike a simple machine, there is a need for a garbage container, which, unfortunately, is not included in the kit. There are options for ebay, made on a 3-D printer, there is a universal Dzhukovsky (art. A9108202222). But the cost of such containers with delivery is about 1000. Moreover, none of them is rigidly attached to the overlock. Will have to buy.
