Poor quality compared to direct order

My son used to have a pair of these that I bought from Ralph Lauren. This pair I bought from Revain doesn't seem to be of the same quality. They are made of a thinner material and therefore do not appear durable. He has worn them twice and they already look a bit worn. I'm not sure if there's any chance they're fake, but they definitely look and feel like it.
