Review on 👠 Capezio Women's Eva Social Dance Shoes for Women by Dana Young

Capezio quality is dropping

With each new model I am more and more disappointed with the quality of Capezio. I love buying discontinued styles on ebay when I can find them in my size, but it's getting harder and harder! You get what you pay for but they are not as bad as the satin heeled latin shoes I bought the other time. The sole of the shoe is too long, it goes past the big toe, but it could be worse. I don't need it for tango dancing, but since it's a practice shoe I can't really complain. However, this is a dance shoe and the sole should not have this design. Street heels from Nine West and Kenneth Cole don't have that problem! The outsole is suede and flexible, as expected. The heel is a standard flare. The straps are a little longer if you choose your actual size, if you choose half size, the shoes fit snugly, you won't get as long sole and your straps are not so long. So order half a size down if you need tight shoes. The design is a bit ugly. The toe box consists of a narrow band on the top of the foot that 1) does not hold the toes well, 2) tends to dent and pinch the toe knuckles because the band is very thin and fits snugly. where the toes bend. All in all you get what you pay for and I make the mistake of expecting more from Capezio. I only use Capezio heels for training because I know they aren't pretty enough for formal dances and performances. I'm used to wearing these shoes with no insoles or other coverings, so I find them about as comfortable as I would expect a 2 inch Capezio heel to be. If you're not used to dancing in thin-soled shoes, don't order half a size down as there likely won't be room for extra padding.
