Review on ☕ Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker: Sleek Silver Design for Effortless Brewing by Jennifer Scott

I bought this device based on the review I read here. It cost a lot more than it takes for a cup of coffee, but the quality check convinced me it was worth it. I loved it and have been satisfied with the purchase for 16 months. During this time I paid an additional 7.40 for the recommended cleaner and 10.00 for a new water filter. still happy Then it started dripping underneath. Something inside the kettle is rusted (I assume because it contains rust) and a lot of water comes out every time I use it. Time for a new coffee maker. I've had Mister Coffee machines for decades and wish they would break so I could get a newer model! I could buy 5 for the price of this Zojirushi. The support staff was very nice and responded quickly BUT the bottom line is they would fix it for free if I paid shipping to get them to them as it was still under warranty. The shipping cost was over $30, and given the many disclaimers pointing out circumstances that precluded a free solution, I decided against it. REALLY scared of sending good money after bad money. I don't like writing bad reviews, but since I relied on a review to make my purchase, I think it's important that people know what could happen in 16 months time. in the street.
