Review on 💻 Verbatim V3 Max Flash Drive 128GB USB 3.0 - Cap-Less & PC / Mac Compatible - Blue by Steven Wood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic speed and durability!

Fantastic speed and durability! Still no problems with it and it simultaneously speeds up the computer with ReadyBoost and also acts as mobile storage for large IT utilities and user data. I've stored everything on this drive from tutorial videos (about 400 hours of them from CBT Nuggets) to utilities to repair my computer and my entire music library. As others have said, the "positive blocking" of the extended port stub is invaluable, especially for people like me who have all their thumbs! As mentioned in other reviews, this drive is also capable of blazing fast file transfers. IF the files are exceptionally large. By this I mean the following: Transferring 1000 files of 1MB each, which add up to about 1,000,000MB (or roughly 1GB) might take 20 minutes, for example, or transferring a 1GB file might only take 5 minutes to transfer . This is because each time the transfer of a file's contents is complete, your computer has to close that file, then create a new empty file, then open that file for editing, then transfer the contents and repeat the process. If you have fewer large files, you'll see more of the speed benefits of this drive. As other reviewers have noted, if you plug this drive into a USB1.1 or USB2.0 port, you'll only get the best possible speeds for that port, so don't blame this drive for the slow response times of the old one Harbor. Upgrade to USB 3.0! If you are having trouble seeing this drive on one computer but not on another, then the problem is with the computer and not with this drive. This drive uses the popular USB (Universal Serial Bus) driver designed for USB3.0 devices. Therefore, if you encounter this problem, first check your computer for malware. If that doesn't solve the problem, try a different USB port on your computer until you've gone through them all (try the port your USB mouse is plugged into!, a colleague, etc.) to troubleshoot the problem to fix. If it's software, it usually just removes the faulty driver so the computer can download it again. Or you just need them to install a new USB stick into your computer and the problem is solved!
