Review on 🔊 Enhanced JBL GTO609C Component Speaker System - 6.5-Inch Premium Design by David Crowder

I bought these as a temporary replacement for my 10 year old Alpine Type R components which I thought had burned out. Even after my amp put out 100 watts RMS, they sounded worse than the old tired Alpines. That makes sense since the magnets weighed about 1/3 the weight. I ended up using crossovers, which improved the sound quality of the old speakers. So it wasn't a complete waste of time. Gave the speakers to someone who wasn't that picky and needed them more than me. These speakers are great if all you want is sound. But if you're used to pricier components, save your money and just bite the bullet on better speakers. They will disappoint you.
