Review on Sunbeam Heated Throw Blanket - 🌞 Reversible Sherpa/Royal Mink, 3 Heat Settings - Honey by Eric Timbeross

This heating blanket warms up well and switches itself off after a few hours. My complaints relate to the power cord and the location of the controller. Note that the controller is BETWEEN the wall outlet and the ceiling, less than 3 feet from the connection to the ceiling itself, so the controller is placed at your FEET and out of reach of your arms. PROS: 1) The power cord itself, from wall to drop, is quite long. It is not difficult to find a suitable socket for connection. 2) Internal wires/heating elements are thin so not too noticeable. CONS: 1: The connection to the ceiling is at the bottom center (which can be uncomfortable for the legs). It would be better to place or throw near a corner. 2: Although the power cord itself is very long, the controller is too close to the throw port. This makes access to the controller more difficult. When I use a long throw, the controller is very close to the bottom of the throw. So to adjust the temperature settings I have to disturb my sleep / sit / kick the furry baby off his knees / grab his feet to reach the controller. . When I use the side throw, the controller is easier to reach BUT the connection to the ceiling is right at arm height and gets awkward. It would be better if the cable length between the controller and the throwing connection was longer.
