Review on 🧑 IPL Laser Hair Removal Facial & Whole Body Machine - Permanent Hair Remover Device for Women and Men at Home - 999,999 Flashes (Orange) by Rachel Simmons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive IPL tool. Good aesthetics. Not satisfied with the connection of the power cord.

The latest hair removal trend is IPL: Intense Pulsed Light. With improved light technology, portable devices are now available that provide the necessary light intensity to perform IPL at home at an affordable price. At this point, I can say that all of these IPL devices work the same way, with minor differences between them. Among the most notable differences:** Is the device just for hair removal, or does it also promise "skin rejuvenation" or acne relief?** Does the device offer an "ice" function, where the flash head's heat sink reduces the heat impact on the skin* * Does the device have an LCD display for reading information such as number of flashes remaining, power level, etc. ?** Does the device include attachments that reshape/adjust the head for targeted use in areas such as the lips?** For which ones maximum number of flashes the device is rated for (most devices are rated for 500,000 - 1,000,000 flashes). flashes, corresponds to lifespan) If you only want hair removal, almost all devices offer this and should offer equivalent functionality. It's one of the inexpensive hair removal-focused devices and omits some of the extra features. Features of this IPL device: **Perf hair removal shapes only** No ICE skin cooling function** LCD screen** Regular flattened hot dog shape (I prefer pistol shape)** Power cord attaches to the side of the device instead of the End plugged in (inconvenient)* * No end -shaped attachments** Rated for 999,999 flashes, 5 power levels. Operation is fairly trivial: 1) Connect the power cord to the IPL device and plug it into the outlet (the hair removal gun is NOT battery powered - it must be plugged in). 2) Turn on the device using the power switch on the right side of the LCD. 3) Choose the power level to use (You have five levels and you can switch between them with a short press of the power button) 4) Place the front of the device on the skin you want to treat and press the flash button (located to the left of the LCD display, towards the end of the flash). (You can also put the device in "Auto" mode, where it will flash every time it touches skin. To put it in Auto mode, press and hold the flash button for 3 seconds.) After flashing, there is several seconds of refractory time before you can flash again. Unfortunately, while functionality is as promised, the power cord plugs into the side of the device rather than the end. As a result, it's extremely difficult to hold the IPL in a position where you can see the LCD while it's in use (see photos). Because of the power cord, you have to turn the device in the other direction. The light is very strong and can damage your eyes with constant direct exposure. So never look directly into the light, and cheap folding glasses are included. The light is activated by sensors on the front of the device. With very slow movement I was able to capture the light (see photo). But the duration of the light is very short. Run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair, making sure to uncover all the hair follicles in that area. You won't see instant results. The light signals that your hair has stopped growing, but it takes multiple treatments over several weeks before you see results. Eventually, you should notice a significant reduction in the amount of hair in the treated areas. In the box you get a tool, power cord, eye protection goggles, cheap disposable razor and instructions. This tool is designed for 999,999 flashes. (So it should probably take longer than your interest in it). One thing you don't get with this tool are attachments that can make it easier to work on specific areas of the body. Some IPL removal tools contain them. The actual value of such tools is debatable, and the basic functionality (which is a flash of high-intensity light) doesn't change. I would like to note that this kit is among the cheaper IPL devices available from Revain, but still includes a nice LCD display. I also like the black and orange aesthetic of this IPL device more than most. However, putting the power cord on the side (rather than the end) of the device is an unfortunate choice that makes the device feel a bit bulky in your hand.
