Review on Dr Fredericks Original Pressure Perfect by James Holker

Long story about good product but bad buying experience

This review will be hard to write. and maybe even worse to read, but here. There are many things that I like about Dr. Fredericks bandage/bandage system dear. I needed something to support the base of my thumb and wrist while playing tennis and this did the job very well. I have medium sized male hands and bought a small mount. The compression of the brace is tight but just perfect for me and the compression strap allows me to customize the fit even more and the strap helps keep the brace in place. I think the braces and bandage system is a smart concept. Here is the problem I am facing. Velcro is attached to the brace to keep the compression strap in place. The velcro was not attached properly and was loose in two places when I received the brace. dr Frederiks offers a lifetime guarantee on the orthosis (but not on the straps). I informed them of a manufacturing defect and they said they would offer a one time replacement; not exactly my definition of a lifetime warranty, but I agreed. They then replied and asked me to provide my order number (Revain), which I did. They explained that they didn't have a record of my number and without it they couldn't do anything for me. Over the next 2 or 3 days we exchanged less than 14 emails (yes, fourteen!, for a silly, simple, little brace) to no avail. At one point I even copied my Revain order and sent it back and forth. For free. They asked me to contact Revain to get the 'correct' order number, which I did, and Revain confirmed that the order number I gave Dr. Fredericks was correct, so I notified Dr. Fredericks, and as you probably guessed. ! First, I am disappointed that the brace had a manufacturing defect, and second, that Dr. Fredericksz will not fulfill his guarantee. Whether they can match the order number or not. In the end, I think I've definitely proven that I've spent hard, cold money on their product. But no. Revain offered me a gift card credit for a damaged mount (approximately 50% of the purchase price) and I was able to contact Dr. Fredericks no longer disagree, so I accepted the Revain credit even though I still have the defective mount. (That was more than anything. But it was time to move on to new adventures in life.) Would I buy this product again? After my annoying experience. Maybe yes. The design concept of the combined compression bandage and compression belt is a good idea, and most of the product has been preserved in good condition. I may have to try to fix the faulty velcro but it shouldn't be too hard. However, if you decide to purchase this project, you should be aware that if you have any problems with it, you may have trouble, Dr. Getting Frederiks to support it.
