I have different combinations of curly natural hair from 3b to 4c. If it's not straightened or in a very safe protective style, my hair will get tangled even if I've just finished detangling it. I mostly use it in the shower to detangle my hair. I like this brush better than the Felicia Detangling Brush, Denman Detangling Brush, or any other detangling brush I've tried. What makes it better for my hair is that it's not too stiff and the bristles are a bit frizzy, but I don't put too much stress on my hair causing it to pull or break. It's a bit stiff at first, but as you use it gets a little more flexible. I've been using one for the last 3 years and just bought another to keep in my second bathroom. I would buy this again. 10/10
