This unit is good for the price, what I really like is that my sink, shower and toilet are very close to the hot water and connected to the hot water pipe. This is a really great item for cleaning showers and toilets. I haven't connected the hot water yet. Many reviews, as well as installation instructions, say that the sink should be in close proximity, that's right. I ran my hot water through the wall and floor and hooked it up to the hot water pipe down the stairs. If your house is not on the stove and you have access to plumbing and a basement, it is best to connect the hot water pipe this way with the break. My concern is that the on/off bidet valve is too sensitive and is under the toilet. Too much hot water can be accidentally turned on and cause burns. The grip needs a bit more resistance to stay locked in memory or adjust to memory settings. Otherwise, this is a really great machine for the price.
