embossing machine but I've seen videos of people using things like rolling pins to press on the embossing die. I don't have a rolling pin, but I do have a big round glass paperweight! It weighs 9.5 pounds and rolls up easily, so I decided to give embossing folders a try! It works fantastic! I don't even have to squirt water on the card to make the print, I just place the dry card in the binder and roll the paperweight over the design to make sure I cover the entire area. I don't have to press hard as the 9.5 lb jar does most of the work. It came out great! I was even able to do double embossing with no problem as you can see in the photo. I embossed the wood structure first, then placed the card in the cherry folder and embossed over it - now you can see the cherry on the wood structure. Very cool! This set has a wide variety of designs and the folders are well made. Great value for 15 binders! This set is perfect for me and I can make many postcards out of it. Oh, and I could easily emboss them on parchment too, giving a nice raised design to plain parchment. 5 Stars!
