Great for code readers and scan tools

Great for IOS. Used it on my 2017 Chevy Camaro SS, it read and I was able to clear codes, I had CEL. I bought OBD Fusion for $9.99, the app required to use this bluetooth adapter. After connecting to the OBDII port in the car, make sure to start the car or put it on battery mode. Choose an adapter from your WLAN list and after that everything goes very quickly. Great price and great product, a must have for anyone working with their car/truck.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Quality

Very happy with this product and very communicative and helpful seller. This scanner works well with my iPhone 7 and 2nd gen iPad Pro with the OBD Fusion app. I have tried this with the following vehicles and they all work with this scanner: 2006 Mazda3, 2000 Honda Odyssey, 1996 Honda CRV, Ford Ranger. The Power LED was on, but a connection could not be established. So if you're having trouble, make sure the scanner is fully inserted.

Pros
  • 1 year trial

System Running Smoothe

I am very satisfied with this product. I ordered the Android version first and had to send it back. After getting this version I tested it and it worked great. I plugged it into my iphone and everything connected with no problem. I pulled out one of my coils to see if it was actually diagnosing the car and it immediately identified the misfires and told me which connector. I plugged the coil back in and nothing showed up I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to avoid…

The whole device is at hand

What can I say, I was looking for a gearbox temperature sensor and used it instead. I have an iPhone so it was the preferred choice and it worked very well. Coupled with Fusion Pro it did everything I wanted it to do. I chose to use it with an Android tablet and installed it on the console in my truck (2002 Chevy Ava). I do a lot of towing etc so it was the best device I've had to date. With some temperature sensors, every truck or car is different. In this note you can have sensors for each…

I thought it was rubbish. Thought I'd give it a try since I .

To be honest when I first saw this product I thought it was bullshit. I decided to give it a try as I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a famous brand scanner. I received the product and did what he said. It took me a while to connect to my car and when I finally did it threw me back. The scanner was on but couldn't access my 99 f250 sd 7.3L. I wasn't sure if it was the scanner, my machine, or that I was using the app on my iPhone. So I contacted BAFX and was surprised that they are…

Works with Iphone and OBD Fusion on my Toyota 4runner 08

I bought this OBD reader to clear the check engine light on my 08 4runner. I have an iPhone 8. I checked the BAFX website to see if this is the correct scanner for my phone type, it was correct. Simple instructions are included and there are good YouTube videos if it's easy to get lost. The device connects easily to my phone, I downloaded Fusion which is $10 from the iStore but there are free app options if you do a little searching. So far the device has followed the steps to connect to my car

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • No instructions

Performance, value and tracking is a great combination

Turned on the reader in my 2007 4Runner, connected to the OBD Fusion app with no issues and provided the required data. So far it's doing exactly what I expected. This is very handy when you need specific information, e.g. B. On a recent off-road ride with long climbs on a rocky, muddy track, I was monitoring the transmission oil temperature. (FYI 4th Gen 4Runner owners, it stayed in the safe range, maxing out at 198F. My truck is stock.) It's important to realize that this device draws power…

I don't understand the reviews of Revane anymore.

I used to pay close attention to Revane's reviews when making purchases. No longer. I bought this scanner because of them and their low price, and then the nightmare started. Forget the installation (not too bad) or that only a few of my sensors are available (oil, transmission and differential temp not available, 30% of my reason to buy): the worst is coming. The main reason for my purchase was to connect the car to dedicated track apps to combine the data with the car's performance on the…

Fair Review Pros - Cons

First of all, this is my second review of this product. I deleted my original review because I gave a very critical one star review; more critical than he deserved, mostly because I didn't contact the company to get answers to questions. Shortly after posting my original review, I received a private message from a man claiming to be Mark Cowan, owner of BAFX Products. He answered my questions/concerns about the product and the company. I've updated the original review but it took a very long…
