Review on 🚗 BAFX Products Wireless WiFi OBDII Scanner & Reader for iOS/iPhone & Android Devices: Revolutionize Car Diagnostics with Advanced Connectivity by John Castle

First of all, this is my second review of this product. I deleted my original review because I gave a very critical one star review; more critical than he deserved, mostly because I didn't contact the company to get answers to questions. Shortly after posting my original review, I received a private message from a man claiming to be Mark Cowan, owner of BAFX Products. He answered my questions/concerns about the product and the company. I've updated the original review but it took a very long time - days turned into weeks. Anyway, I wanted to make sure this company and product had a chance at an honest review, so I removed it and am now posting this abridged review. PRO'S1. Customer service. Mark Cowan, owner of BAFX Products, has reached out via private message to answer questions and concerns about the product and the company, which is greatly appreciated. I don't expect every business owner to reply, but it's welcome. If you have a question, reach out and ask. You will get an answer. CONS1. Does not clean anti-lock braking system (ABS), air bag, supplemental restraint system (SRS) or test battery/alternator charging.2. Although BAFX provides software to use their product, they recommend using a third party "OBD Fusion" software which costs $9.99. Also, there are in-app purchases priced at $9.98 each, so the software may cost $19.98 if you own a specific year Ford. I recommend BAFX Products to upgrade your existing software so you don't have to refer your clients to another company. I just don't want to be embarrassed that something isn't working and each company points to the other and says it's not our software or it's not our hardware/product; We've all been there before and it's a needless fuss. CONCLUSION The review I posted is my personal opinion. I have a lot of experience under the hood but to put it simply this product didn't work for my needs. However, I have upgraded my rating from one star to three simply because this company followed me and was keen to address my questions/concerns based on my initial review. I received the order and supposedly fixed this problem. However, I have returned the item and cannot provide any information other than my experience with the item received. I really think they did a great job and deserve an extra two stars because customer service is an essential aspect of any business and BAFX Products seems to understand that.
