Turned on the reader in my 2007 4Runner, connected to the OBD Fusion app with no issues and provided the required data. So far it's doing exactly what I expected. This is very handy when you need specific information, e.g. B. On a recent off-road ride with long climbs on a rocky, muddy track, I was monitoring the transmission oil temperature. (FYI 4th Gen 4Runner owners, it stayed in the safe range, maxing out at 198F. My truck is stock.) It's important to realize that this device draws power all the time, which means it will eventually drain your car's battery is discharged. if 1) it stays installed and 2) you don't drive your car for some time (time varies depending on battery level, age, etc.). Read and understand this part of the manual to avoid a dead battery. I also think the late registration of the company is worth mentioning. I understand that part of this is getting people to write reviews, but it was still nice to receive a message emphasizing their commitment to customer service and guarantees and encouraging outreach if the customer has any concerns or questions . I didn't have to verify that commitment, but I feel more confident because that's how they communicate with customers. I purchased an advanced diagnostics pack for Toyota vehicles in the OBD-Fusion app and the reader provided the information just fine.
