I have had a ankle surgery closely followed by a knee surgery so I haven't really used these much as a pair of running shorts, but they are my favorite pair for just lounging around the house. They breathe well, are extremely comfortable,and they even dry so quickly that I have even used them as a swimsuit. The pockets are also pretty accommodating, which is especially helpful with the me being on crutches a lot lately and not having a free hand. The only downside with the pockets being so accommodating was that they made for bigger air pockets when I used the shorts as a swimsuit, but that's not the intended use anyway.
