Review on 🎤 Sennheiser MKE600 Wireless Pro Audio Microphone System in Black by Doug Hammett

Great microphone. On battery mode it works well with my Nikons when capturing video, although later I'll have to rebalance the audio in post as it only records on the left channel with a 3.5mm XLR jack. I could add another adapter in line to split it into mono L and R, but I was lazy about that as I'd already written out the process to fix it in the post. When connected to my phantom powered Zoom H4N Pro the capabilities of this mic really shine. Excellent directivity and delivers a much fuller sound than all my other mics except my large diaphragm studio mics. The included mount is acceptable, but I also bought a gimbal mount for better isolation when shooting on the go. The only downside is that my XLR to 3.5mm adapter is too short to use the hanging mount, but it's my fault for buying such a short cable. The wind foam is also ok. I would recommend if you plan to spend a lot of time in very windy areas, get something better. Bottom line, it's expensive, but worth it.
