Great microphone! in Microphones

This is a versatile microphone! We use it in our studio and it picks up voices in front of us from a very reasonable distance very well and cancels out all ambient noise. We finally got rid of the huge microphone right in front of us so the video looks a lot cleaner.

Best value for money

You can spend more, but you probably don't need it. This purchase is my second. I use them over my head on talk shows and on location. You do the work. I particularly like that they can be used with both battery and phantom power. And its inherent noise is very low, although it's slightly higher on battery power. When used on a set with good ambient absorption, you can slightly increase the distance from the source and get a very clear sound.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

I thought I had a fake!

I have just purchased another copy of this microphone after having it for over 10 years. It's ideal for on-camera documentary audio if your camera has a decent audio interface like a film camera. When it arrived I put two mics (one 2010, one 2021) side by side and thought it was fake! It turned out that Sennheiser had changed their logo to a standard font and slightly altered the stylized "S", and I was pretty sure it was an imported fake. Logo. "Made in Germany" is no longer written under theโ€ฆ

What do I expect from Sennheiser. Worth every penny.

Great microphone. On battery mode it works well with my Nikons when capturing video, although later I'll have to rebalance the audio in post as it only records on the left channel with a 3.5mm XLR jack. I could add another adapter in line to split it into mono L and R, but I was lazy about that as I'd already written out the process to fix it in the post. When connected to my phantom powered Zoom H4N Pro the capabilities of this mic really shine. Excellent directivity and delivers a much fuller

The best microphone I've ever used!

As the creator of YouTube, I'm always trying to improve the quality of my videos. Audio has been one of my weakest points over the years, so I decided to change that. After seeing Revain, reading hundreds of reviews and Reddit posts, I decided to give the Rode VideoMic Pro a try. There was an error. The portability of this mic is excellent, but the quality isn't. After returning it, I switched to the MKE600 and was thrilled! The quality is almost perfect and the sound quality of my videos hasโ€ฆ

Great microphone for the price!

I mainly use this mic with Sony a6400. I wanted to improve my audio and use my camera in a variety of settings from filming videos to live streaming and teaching online. I really wanted to improve the sound, especially when making calls, and for the price it really delivers. I'm not a fan of the included shock and ended up buying a cheap $10 mount off Amazon to use with mic stands (I'm a musician, I have a lot of these around the house). The ability to work with phantom power or battery is very

Great for scoring

UPDATE 2 - September 2020 - MKE 600 and MKH 416 I recently received the new Sennheiser MKH 416 for my sound reinforcement projects and can now compare the two mics head-to-head. In my opinion, the MKE 600 is still the best microphone for speech output, despite the 416's long and colorful history. The 600 just has a smoother overall sound, especially at high frequencies. The 416 has a "big" sound but can easily get quite boomy and wheezy. The 600 doesn't have this problem thanks to a moreโ€ฆ
