Bought a carpeted scratching post. I love cat tree. But even the pillar on which the cats climb was covered with a carpet. I kept picking up scraps of carpet. I came up with the idea of replacing that section of carpet with this rope. The hardest part of the project was removing the carpet from the tree. I then used a hot glue gun every few inches to glue this rope to the tree. I took my time and am very happy with the results. I finished this project a few months ago and the rope shows no signs of breaking. And I no longer collect dozens of carpet pieces every day. Good quality again. I have 4 cats that use this tree daily. A few months later it still looks perfect. Will buy again for future projects.
