Description of 🐱 Premium Amakunft Hemp Rope for Cat Tree and Tower - Durable DIY Cat Scratcher Sisal Rope for Cat Scratching Post Replacement, Provides Flexible and Fun Scratching Pad

Premium natural sisal rope, traditional processing, manual drying. Great replacement to repair the old worn out rope on the cat scratching post / tree, make it like a new ones, save you form having to buy a new one. Also can be used to wrap the legs of the furnitures or anywhere your cats like to scratch. This not only plays a decorative role, but also to avoid the cat’s paw. The rope is a bit rough to human, but that’s what the cat likes. If you have catnip, add a cat nip under the rope as you wind it around the support. It drives them crazy and helps stop scratching elsewhere. Make sure of the length that you need, better to have more than not enough. 33FT is only enough to repair some places or a small post, 66FT can be enough to cover a large post. If you have more post to re-rope, you can choose 164 FT. Can be tired to the furniture, flowerpot, cat house, tree, or anywhere your pet like.

Perfect for the scratching post

This worked great to replace the sisal on my scratching post. I hot glued it around the base of the tree. My cats love to scratch!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Excellent material!

Ideal material for restoring a cat scratching post. It was enough for my husband to write a long post and then he took material from a short post and silenced it!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Working speed

All in all, definitely recommended.

This rope is a great product for filling up my cat's scratching posts. A nice tight braid worked well around his posts. The only thing I could ask for is a starter spool that is either flat and tacky or thinner so the start of the spool doesn't protrude as much as before.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Something different

The best rope for scratching posts!

If your cat is messing with the original rope that comes with the scratching post, don't fix it with the original, they don't last long and make a mess! I bought this hoping it would last because I don't trim my cat's nails that often (he hates it) so it's been about 2-3 weeks since I've put it on and it's holding up like a Champion. I will use this type of rope from now on. Regular wood gorilla glue was used for gluing and so far it is perfectly still and glued.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

Used to replace carpet on scratching post

Bought a carpeted scratching post. I love cat tree. But even the pillar on which the cats climb was covered with a carpet. I kept picking up scraps of carpet. I came up with the idea of replacing that section of carpet with this rope. The hardest part of the project was removing the carpet from the tree. I then used a hot glue gun every few inches to glue this rope to the tree. I took my time and am very happy with the results. I finished this project a few months ago and the rope shows no…

A bit flimsy and takes A LOT more than you think

, this is a three shelf cat tree. During Prime Day, the 66ft length was specially purchased, so I decided to give it a try. 1/4 inch at 66 feet covers only about 14 inches of the 21-1/2 inch long rod section, which is about 4 inches in diameter. If I had bought enough to wrap all four sections, I would have needed (6) 66 foot lengths (or 396 feet!). I have six cats and I'm not sure if everyone uses rope, but it wears out fast! The fact that it's spiked doesn't matter (in case anyone was…
