Using my latest iPhone (XS) has required me to reconsider my use in the car. The XS doesn't have an audio jack (the dongle can be used to turn flashes into sound, but then the phone can't be charged without a big audio/charger combo dongle - and their performance reviews aren't promising). The addition of this device eliminates the need to run an audio cable through the dash, allows me to charge my phone with its audio through the car stereo, offers a decent microphone for phone calls or Siri commands, and offers a very reliable (and easily configurable to ) Bluetooth connection for all these targets. A good product.
