The first spark plug worked perfectly, I opened it, reassembled it, put batteries in. It turned on, responded to the remote, and the light blinked as instructed in the instructions. The second candle: When I tried to put the batteries in, the first battery froze. I could tell because instead of hearing a chime as the battery slid down the cone to hit the metal at the end, it slowly slid in and didn't click. I installed the second and third batteries, thinking that if I press the third battery, the first battery will slide into place. After replacing the cover, the light did not come on. I would rule out one candle out of sheer luck, but three of the six candles in that container didn't work and when I opened the second container, having bought two sets of six, the first candle didn't work either. or. I'm definitely returning them. They got good reviews overall, there were some negative reviews, but they're absolutely not worth your money if three out of six don't work properly. I also used the correct batteries, AAA. Also, I can't get all the batteries out of the candle.
