They look great on display, easy to assemble but don't appear at the same time every day so I returned them. I don't want to turn them on every day, I want them to turn on automatically. The manual says you need it, but it doesn't.

This product is a fire hazard. Some of the spark plugs did not work or were very dark. Of the few that worked, I noticed that the batteries were very hot when I removed them. Upon closer inspection I noticed that one of them started to smell really bad and the plastic started to melt. See attached picture. Very upset and disappointed with this product.

If you want candles that light up automatically at the same time every 24 hours, RUN AHEAD OF THEM! I bought three boxes just for this purpose and none of them work as advertised. I doubt that all are defective. So it remains to be assumed that the manufacturer and seller are incorrect with their description. I love the candles but I'm giving them a very low rating because they don't do what I bought them for - they don't turn on automatically.

Love candles in the window on holidays, but most of them are not electric, not bright. It is and dimmable! Easily fits in candle holders instead of a stand. Each of these candles runs on 3 AAA batteries and lasts around 150 hours. There are constant light settings with three levels of brightness and a flicker mode with fast or slow flicker. I bought these candles to replace the old wire ones. The feature that attracted me was the remote control that allowed them to work 4 or 6 hours each day. I installed them and programmed the remote with all the candles together and then placed the candles in windows throughout the house. They work great. Instructions and packaging are good. The best thing about this product is the "set and forget" principle. We wanted to use them for a change in our decoration this Christmas. The units have a 4 hour and 6 hour schedule option which was perfect. We used the six-hour variant, where the light comes on for six hours, then goes off for 18 hours and repeats. The first spark plug worked perfectly, I opened it, reassembled it, put batteries in. It turned on, responded to the remote, and the light blinked as instructed in the instructions. Updated 12/15/2019. We have now purchased 3 of these sets and each candle has worked and is still working. We also assumed (by reading reviews+ here) that there was no auto-on feature. There is!
