Update 03/01/2021 My third (!) set is broken! Extremely poor quality frame material. Frames around lenses have been known to break after around 4-6 months of little use. It seems that the shrinkage of the material causes such great stress that it begins to crack and break. The pieces fail to line up in the crack and there is a gap of over 1/16 inch remaining, indicating why the frame broke in the first place and that it actually shrunk. The black finish also begins to blister and peel within a few months. I ordered these glasses for the first time at the end of October 2019 and received them at the beginning of November 2019. So far so good, I thought. In less than a few months, the collapse began. The glass frame is a transparent plastic coated with black paint. " The coating gradually began to peel off. In a couple of weeks it peeled off in many places, allowing me to easily remove the residue with my fingernail. Most likely, the product is from a specific country that has been in recent Featured in the news a lot these days so I thought heck and cleaned up all the peeling paint to end up with a clear frame version lost when the frame suddenly fell apart without warning Upon closer inspection I noticed that the rest of the frame had many cracks The plastic frame compresses fairly quickly over time and hence the tension created by the lens seating eventually causes the plastic to crack in multiple places. Some reviewers have posted pictures here I , which have exactly the same damage I encountered. It is perfectly reasonable to expect glasses to last more than just under 6 months. I also think that Revain will offer some form of guarantee on every product, apart from a short return period so it can be returned to the manufacturer, or at least an exchange if it fails after a few months. I don't want to buy new glasses every 6 months!
