I think it said these were women's shoes? I caught them when they were $20 so I said what the heck?! I'll see if they look manly enough for my seven year old son? They did! These are UNISEX loafers! I was skeptical as the reviews weren't that helpful. These shoes are COMFORTABLE, my son wears them all day, no complaints, they passed the test of the boy who wears them! No scuffs and/or tears and my son struggles with the shoes! These shoes have survived many trips to Disneyland and give the vintage/retro style we're looking for. The only problem was that one of the laces was very long, so we just double-knotted it. When the boot gets dusty/dirty we wipe it down with Mr. Clean Magic and also tape seal the boot so he can put it on when it rains.
