The dog is cute but small. Got this for my 7 month old who loves our cat (even though our cat doesn't like being touched). She liked it immediately and stroked it. But as soon as I put the batteries in her, she started crying. The movements are very jerky (although it flips completely), and the "bark" is more like two pieces of plastic rubbing together, creating an annoying and unnatural squeak. That's a little annoying. I took out the batteries and now it's just a small dog to hold. I would pay $5 for it in a clearance truck as an impulse buy. Disappointed, I paid $20 and waited over a week. Wouldn't buy again.
