One star is too much

The repeater has no control or setting, it only needs to work by powering it on, so it won't work because of wrong installation or setting. The LED lights up, but it doesn't work. We've changed locations many times and changed USB power as recommended in many places, it's pretty clear it's not working. Don't waste money.
