When I received the product everything looked great. I connected the cable to the charger and connected it to the phone. When I came back to pick up my phone I found it wasn't charging. The charger was VERY hot. I thought the charger might be the problem so I connected it to a different charger but the phone still wouldn't charge. The charger got warm and I unplugged it. I tried my old shorter troubleshooting cable to see if the cable I bought was bad. It worked and proved that the cable I bought was no good. Unfortunately I now have a cable that was bad from the start and now I have to buy another charger. Fast chargers are not cheap! $25-35 on amazon. I'm returning the cable, but how do I get compensation for a broken cable that ruined the charger?! Thank god he didn't take my phone out!
