Initially I was very happy with these boots. I bought these for my son's fireman costume for Halloween and to play with. These are his favorite shoes and he wears them all the time. I bought a size bigger so he can wear it longer. Well today I noticed how much wear the bottom of the shoes has had over the 4 months they have been with us. I don't think they are intended for everyday outdoor play. I would recommend these if you don't plan on using them occasionally or for a short period of time. I am very sad.
