When I ordered this I was expecting the package to contain those thin plastic adhesive film screens you see on Palm Pilots. However, I was really impressed that it's a much stronger, durable plastic that isn't flimsy at all. It really seems to offer good protection not only from minor scratches but also from major scratches. I could imagine taking the key and waving it up and down with this plastic screen protector without damaging the screen underneath. quality in the least. It's still clear, clean and undistorted. In fact, once it's in place, you can hardly tell it's there. s is all that covers the screen at all. Very good! Application is quick and easy, although I suggest buyers, rather than relying on your fingers to smooth it along the screen (as suggested in the instructions), use your driver's license or credit card to apply it as whether you would use wallpaper. . It's quick, easy, and most importantly, bubble-free (although I have very small bubbles in the four corners and around the edges. Try as I can, I can't remove them, but they don't stick to anything, and you don't get them at all with when the device is switched on). One thing I do want to say is that $10 seems a bit high for a wet cleaning pad, a dry cleaning pad (polisher) and a screen. I found it elsewhere for about $7 which still seems like a lot to me but I'm hoping to win. I don't have to buy them often so I can forgive the price. Update June 18, 2007 - I still have the original plastic screen cover on my Zune. Although the plastic screen cover has light scratches, the screen is still in perfect condition. Even with a few scratches on the screen bezel, the screen is fully visible and unobscured and still securely attached despite my usual (and often less than gentle) handling of my Zune. 5 months after first use, I am still a long way from having to replace it. I'm much more willing to give the price of this product considering how long it lasts. :) Update from 6. January 2010 - I still have this protection on my Zune screen. It's scratched, but the screen underneath is in perfect condition, and the screen protector doesn't even come close to needing to be changed. And yes, I'm very strict with my Zune and use it almost every day, but it still does the job. It was a fantastic purchase for the Zune. Update January 30, 2011 - I still use my Zune every day, the Zune still has a screen protector. It's scratched but not to the extent that it affects screen visibility, the screen underneath is still like new and the screen protector is still on. and the screen protector doesn't even come close to needing to be changed.
