I have been buying scrub loofahs from the same brand for several years. I buy these because they are large, durable and clean my skin well without scratching it. So I was interested in comparing them. I usually prefer exfoliating puffs to gentle puffs because they just clean better. Some of the gentle products are so soft that they seem to glide over the skin without scratching it. It may work for clear skin, but when I'm sweating after a hard workout I want my skin to be CLEAN! They work just as well as the more expensive ones I've bought in the past. Look, feel and cleaning power are right! They are quite soft and feel quite dense. The material is not scratchy, but not too soft either. They are powerful enough to cleanse your skin but are not harsh or irritating. I find that they lather well and produce a rich, rich lather that rinses off easily and completely. The ribbon attached to each loofah is fairly standard. It feels secure and is long enough to be hung. I actually prefer a band over a rope because it seems to stay cleaner longer. Poufs are packed in a zippered bag. The colors are variations of black/purple, black/blue, black/red and black/green. The husband has already figured out everything except Lila. He definitely appreciated the more masculine look of these washcloths. My husband and I replaced our washcloths with one of these. Mine holds up better than his. Mine looks almost new, it's getting quite big and elongated.
