I actually bought this to be able to take to my boyfriend's home so I could do my homework there while he plays video games. His apartment is very small, so having a collapsible desk is a must!I am a college student with ADHD and ASD, so being able to have a consistent space with plenty of room for me to be able to spread my items out in a very specific way is important. There is plenty of space for everything and collapsing the desk is fairly easy. (I'm always afraid I'm gonna hurt myself, but have not after all this time!)The desk never made it to my boyfriend's, but I have still gotten a lot of use out of it! I have reclining couch seats and I can kick up the footrest and pull the desk over it perfectly, so I can still chill on the couch when I need a stable, spacious surface. Plus, it doesn't wobble at all!I have also had to crawl onto the desk, so this dude is very sturdy. (I'm 135lbs.) I would not advise regularly putting a lot of weight on it, but it can definitely hold up a good number of textbooks!My only complaint is that it's difficult to store when it's not being used, but that's more of my fault. I don't have much storage space, so I just have to lean it against a wall where I won't run into it.
