These handrails are well made even though they are made out of plastic parts. They're very strong and durable, and stick like glue to flat, hard surfaces (the manufacturer states very clearly that they don't stick well [if at all] to grouted tiled surfaces), but they come off fairly easily if you use them want to remove or move.
