Breaks in unexpected places

These are by far the best headphones I've used for sleeping. Earphones help me sleep because I can listen to soothing sounds, audiobooks, or music while blocking out most outside noise. I didn't buy there expecting better sound so don't expect better sound but it delivers as good a sound as any earphone in this price range. There is no way to adjust the eartip size to your ear and in my case this meant I had to get used to inserting each eartip deeper into my ear canal than I've ever done with others, but I got used to it quickly . My disappointment is that these headphones break unexpectedly. With most other headphones, the cord has a tendency to snap, exposing the wires trapped within. This usually happens near where the cable connects to the actual headphones or the part that goes in your ear. visible in the thin silicone or plastic that surrounds them. It still works, but if you look directly at the earbuds, the part that goes in your ear, it's clear that the speaker is at an unusual angle. I hope you can see it in the picture I attach. It happened on both sides.
